Hi Gaby,

I noticed that it has been a almost a month and I'm not trying to reopen anything but I hope you are reminding your DH about money. Nothing to bad just "HERE'S YOUR GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH, IT'S ALL WE CAN AFFORD."

Oh, Dave, I'm on it like white on rice. He's had no shave this month, save for the half-baked ones he's gotten from a neighbor and the caregiver. He's asked to borrow money from me countless times (???!!!) and each time I've said no.

I'm praying that this coming month we don't have the drama of last month. But I'm preparing for the worst, hoping for the best.

Please pray.

Gab

Hi, Gaby!

Your situation sounds like my old neighbor and friend. She had to go to court and take charge of her mother's income. She was spending all of it on the lottery; scratch off tickets mostly. The good part os that she and her two sisters are rotating alone with a home health aid who comes in during the week.

I know this is hard, but it just sounds like he is now incompetent with money. i don't know what else to tell you, but I hope this helps. Speak with the doctors about the behavior. Love the person, hate the behavior.

Take care of yourself.

JJ
